anyone have any ideas on how to make a scale? i only need to weigh 1.5 of something and my scale is fucked.

Yea, there is an easy way to make a simple scale.
First you need an item that is approximately the weight you are looking for, a new dollar bill is exactly 1g (penny is 2.5g fyi). So go get two new dollar bills, cut one in half, tape them to a small bit of string. balance a hollow bic pen tube or any other type of lever arm and mark the balancing point. attach a small bag to another bit of string and fill it with approximately 1.5g weed. Attach both pieces of string the exact same distance from the balancing point on both ends of the pen tube. Balance the tube again. Adjust the weight of the pot in the bag to get an approximate measure.
This type of scale is very inefficient but it will get the job done in a pinch if necessary. Though a good digital scale is much more appropriate. Good luck!

ebay has them for $20
or you can go to a gas station and buy a 'postal scale' probably not too accurate but my friend used to use it when he sold. now he's in jail.
i always had a digi, but never sold
