Adjusting Light for Cacti

Just got some LW and they were kept in a dark box for at least a week before I just re-potted them, for now they are in very indirect and dull light but was wondering how to acclimate them back to full light and possibly also a heating mat(?) if that is good for them?

I’d use something like shade cloth to control light intensity and slowly expose them to more day by day. Putting them out in the sun for 30 minutes to an hour a few times a day would probably work too.
Full disclosure, my skills with cacti are sorely lacking. That’s what I’d do with most c4s, so I’m assuming the same would work for c3s.
