My First Home Grow - Lemon Drizzle

Hello fellow Home Growers.

I'm super excited to introduce my first home grow set-up, as well provide updates along the way.

I have worked as a grower for the Colorado Medical Industry for 2 years a while back. It was an awesome experience, and I loved the work, but all growing/trimming/bud tending Jobs pay basically Minimum wage, which is why I stopped that work.

Nevertheless, it was an awesome learning experience. I worked at big warehouse grow that had a total of about 5000 plants with room for more. I was in charge of flowering room that had just over 300 plants.

I was hired basically at the ground floor of operations. I helped paint all walls and floors with white paint which took well over a week. We grew Hydroponically in rockwool cubes for the first year and half and began converting to coco after that.

After experiencing and learning how everything is done on industrial scales, and now learning how to approach and start my own home grow, I'm realizing/remembering some the best weed I have encountered has always came from a home grow.

Here's my current set up.
I plan on doing 1 plant of a feminized Lemon Drizzle seed in a 3x3x1 raised bed of living soil. I just watered the bed to what I feel is an acceptable moisture content and am currently letting it sit for 2 weeks for microbial/fungal activity to do it's thing and get established.

This sprout is almost a week old from when the taproot first exposed itself from the seed. After the soil sits for 2 weeks I will be planting Micro Clover as a cover crop. Then the Lemon Drizzle whenever she is ready for transplant.

Already thinking about how I need to purchase a Freeze Dryer hahaha.

P.S. The Old Lady is my cat; it was her birthday yesterday and she turned 16!
