Tomorrow is the day they are scheduled to run fiber to my house.  I was looking forward to it, until I noticed the blizzard warning.  55 mph winds and two feet of snow, travel will be “difficult to impossible”. Yeah… that’s not happening :feelsbatman:

On a more positive note, my new monitor gets here on Monday!  I won’t be able to use it until my new PC arrives in January, but it’s going to take until mid December for them to finish the fiber install anyways. I’m really hoping they’ll be able to do a temporary above ground install until the snow melts.

Man this is frustrating, the internet company came to install just before the snow started falling, but the utility marking company never showed, so they couldn't install :crankey:.  Now I'm going to have a gaming PC but no decent internet. :smbfacepalm:

Power was restored within 2 hours, we managed to save the turkey.  :awesome:

Just pulled the trigger on a $500 standing desk.  The first 20 orders payed for after midnight get full refunds.  My order was submitted in the first second, and the payment was processed by the fourth.  I should know by Dec 1st  :prayer:
