Is FR gear hella hot?
I had FR coat and pants for wild land fires and it was tolerable but my gear for structure fires made me sweat even if it was around freezing outside.

Some of it is, Just depends on what you get.
My father was telling me how miserable it was back in the day when they first started requiring it. Its gotten a lot better now.
A lot of the shit I own, I bought used, because they're so fuckin expensive. Some of those shirts are better than others, theres a few that are pretty thick. I buy the FR bluejeans, some guys like the coveralls and some places require it.
They get more comfortable after you wash them a bunch and they thin out. Which is funny because "allegedly" the fire resistance loses its effectiveness after so many washes depending on the garment, but I've never once heard anyone mention anything about that, and I've seen some ragged fuckin clothes in the plants. So essentially you just end up with plain fuckin clothes, which I could be fuckin wearing anyways and is much cheaper.
Its all a fucking scam. When I was welding I caught the FR shit on fire just as easy as the plain stuff. It's just another way to exploit the working class. I guarantee all the big shot fucking carpet walking owners who implement these rules have major stakes in the FR manufactures, there's no way they're not involved.

I can't or I'll be hospitalized from the pain every month and they'll end up giving me pain meds anyways lol I prefer not to be in pain. The more pain I feel the more pelvic cramping I do, so the worse the pain gets and longer it lasts. I quit drinking alcohol for good though which makes me sad because I'll miss trying cocktails while dining out. Alcohol raises estrogen levels which flares up my symptoms.

Anyways I don't do them everyday. There's like at least 1 1/2 weeks per month where I don't touch a single perk. It's not my fault this disease plagued me.
I got the same shitty caseworker for disability who never answers his phone. I'm so sick of these medical and government places not answering their phone or calling back promptly.

I've seen some videos where they can simulate period/endo pain in men with some electrodes that stimulate muscle cramps in the lower abdomen. Its a 1-10 scale, with 5 being average period pain for women, and 10 being moderate endo pain.
Most men can't make it past 7, and start having a hard time concentrating or talking at 4 or 5. I've seen some dudes go all the way to 10, but they are sweating and tensing up all over...and quickly ask for them to shut it down.
Hopefully the percs help a little during that time for ya, I wouldn't wish that shit (endometriosis) on anybody
