Bottom leaves yellowing, shriveling up, and dying is what you see when the plant is cannibalizing itself. It still wants to grow, but it doesn't have the nutrients it needs, so it sucks them out of the leaves to stay alive. I see it all the time in organics and when cloning, but in my coco hydro garden the only leaves that shrivel are the ones that I pluck off.

Just uppotted another one, the first one is still looking OK.
I think for the next ones I'm going to try loading the pot with the soil, pasteurizing it in the pot, in a bucket, with boiling water, just pour it out through the drainage out of the bucket... maybe thatll work.. I keep forgetting to pick up a pillowcase

Because I am a defiant illiterate moron incapable of following instructions and learning I've uppotted another one of the hammers, this one did have cirrhosis, but I did not pasteurize the soil for this one either so I'm past the point of using a control in my experiment unless I do a control "group" instead of one variable... anyway the others are eh.... I suppose I am over watering not under, the new leaves are looking happy, old wilty, making me think it's a little over charged not under, but definitely not locked thank god.
I wish I could fucking slap every person that told me early on these plants love taking in massive amounts of food. No the fuck they don't. Even if you apply things to make them hungrier theyre still going to go as slow as any other damn plant. Bastards trying to push nute sales While checking the roots in the other solos I noticed a little earth worm in one of them, that must be a good sign.. plucked it out just in case don't want it eatin mah roots.

Update time: Uppotted hammer no1 seems stunted, older leaves keep yellowing off, isn't drinking much water. I'm going to try not watering it for as long as I can, I'm thinking fungal. Uppotted hammer no2 is outrunning the tent, fimmed it at the top, I'm thinking about doing some sort of modular scrog with it (thanks for the recommendation sugabear!) Uppotted hammer no3 seems to have a mutation of some sort + stunted. Idk exactly what mutation but it is forming nodes, the leaves are growing like nautilus shells, I'm going to treat it same as no1 going to spray a little kelp (bloom khaos) in the tent now

Fimming No2 was a good call she's already nodein' out a little. I still haven't tied down No1 or potted up the remainder in solos. Seeing that No1 is being weird I'm thinking I'll notice a difference in growth after using pasteurized soil

I almost totally forgot about pH. I believe the soil probably built up some salt by now. Last couple waterings added Herculean Harvest, about 1tbsp to 1gal water to bring it down some. Still been foliar feeding the calmag and kelp. I top dressed them all with some Ocean Forest I had sitting around all year. I feel like the dumbest person to ever grow weed I really still cant believe me first few seasons were better than where I'm at now lol oh well thankful to still be going at all!

Really not a whole lot of growth since last time, granted like double in size but should be bigger. I suppose I should have started feeding early. Whatever theyre alive and not nute locked. In fact im about to flip them very soon.

Seems no1 and 2 were males....... or maybe they were about to spit out a ton of leaves.... either way they're both dead now huehue. No3 is definitely female or at least she definitely has female preflower bract stuff going. Here's what No1 and 2 were doing:
