My best friend smoked weed just about everyday Junior and Senior year of high school. And by everyday it was like all day everyday.
Has an academic full ride for four years to a top university.
It depends on the kid. Can you smoke weed and function? If your kid can, let him blaze.

i mean, i got top grades in high school, and i am on my way to university with scholarships....so i am not worried about my kids, i imagine they will get my good genes.

hell nah, my dad was so on my ass about school, i graduated highschool with a 3.6....and i feel if i smoked all thru highschool, i would have the whole DGAF trian of thought like all the others. Now i LOVE to stundy and smoke at the same time, no stress.

If you let your kids smoke, you are letting them break the law. You might not care but consider if your kid gets caught their life will be de-railed. Court and probation followed by marks on their permanent record. That mark will deter employers and colleges from choosing your kid.
It's easy to say "yea i'll just let my kid smoke" and actually think it out and do it. It you provided the substance for them and allowed them to use it stealthily near/in the house its a different story. But by allowing them to toke you are letting them take a risk that could fuck up their life depending on your laws.
I'm not sure where i actually stand on the issue. I'm just evaluating it all.

in california even if you get caught it wont fuck your life.

Kids do what they want without permission from anyone. If my sons decide to start doing drugs of any kind, i want them to be open with me about it. I will talk to them and tell them my stories, then try to get them to understand moderation and act responsible. They will do what they want no matter what i say in some cases, I'm going to be open about it with them. Drugs shouldn't be in schools but they are, so I'm going to teach them the real dangers of drugs, not the propaganda bullshit.

thats why i plan on using weed as a motivating factor for my kids. You do well in school you get to smoke dad's homegrown.
