Hi Budgrowerwannabe. I have not used those tea bags. I have used compost teas though. I think that, that particular product is nothing but a gimmick capitalizing on the organic push. My problem with it is that it only involves putting the tea bag in water to soak over night. Good compost has high concentrations of aerobic bacteria. This is bacteria that thrive in oxygen rich environments. When i made compost teas, i needed to not only let the mixture sit and be colonated through the water, but i needed to have a pump pumping the water in a specialized circle like structure to keep the water oxygenated. Without doing that, the water becomes stagnant and anaerobic bacteria build up instead. These bacteria are generally not beneficial to plants.

If you have many plants, why not?. If you have your plant in good conditions, i don't think it will hurt. If it boosts the plants vigor, then i've obviously wrongfully judged and you'll be right to apply it to the rest. Sometimes one needs to try different things to find out the outcome them selves. If you've already bought it, i'd definitely use it on at least one plant, so at the least you'll know if it's worth buying again.
