Ok the movie was shitter than shit but....
Magical mushrooms do nothing but shit to me nowadays, with nothing but guaranteed depression and a reel of negative archaic thoughts strewn into the mix. I adamantly avoid them now when once I used to love the hunt, the cool trips, just generally the whole package.
But they turned on me man. Psilocybin just doesn't agree with me anymore, it takes a heaping pile of shit all over my psyche and shows me just how scary the real world and humanities future really is.
What about you?

Try a benzo with it to get you back in the feel? Or maybe some MDMA? Or stop doing mushrooms.
Sometimes I feel DMT can sort of reset and heal my brain when the patterns are all fried up.

I evolved eating mushrooms so i dont eat them anymore , still havent ound out if you can evolve more than once though, so maybe i might eat them again. Now i just smoke weed but i gota run going to a friends house.

I had a gram a few months ago and it felt like it hit harder than 5 grams. Shit gets weird now-a-days. I'd rather take some acid.

this medible isnot like the green kind. the next mushy growin rite next to another may be more or maybe less potent. it is a crap shoot. that is why there are forums to help us all out in our understanding. .I took a heavy dose along time ago. and am now only coming back. for me, iam forced to confront myself. since realization set in I have been able to let go more easily, state of mind, environment and people are all major factors. as with any medible, dosage is up to the individual, you do not always need to " max out".

Im exactly the same way. I LOVED them when I was a teen/early 20's. Now they cause extreme depression. I think its all where you are in your life. When I was young I was happy with few responsibilities and no worries. Now I have kids to look after, an ex that does everything she can to make my life a living hell, and a lot of challenges to overcome. When I eat shrooms now all I do is focus on everything negative in my life. I have a feeling once my kids are grown and gone and Im better off financially I'll probably enjoy them again.

I get the opposite effect. I'd say 90+ percent of my shroom trips are positive experiences. I see the beauty in everything lol and reminisce. I get the feeling that everything is going the way it's supposed to and that in itself is universal perfection.

Honestly man, I think this has more to do with your psyche itself than the shrooms.
Also it's worth noting a good point a friend of mine raised, that the further you go on with your shroom career the more they will demand of you.
Having taken my experience with it to the next level this summer doing high dosage nearly every weekend I've definitely noticed this.
Despite all the agonizing experiences I've had, every time I came out feeling like I gained something from it.

I think I remember you mentioning "supernatural" occurrences.
I've encountered something similar. Not knowing where the boundries of the trip ended and reality began.
The only growth I can say I have had from those was just knowing I'm strong enough to make it through that alone.

I have a friend who had a similar experience and won't even take them anymore.
His wife said he likes to always be in control and maybe the shrooms interfered
With that.
Idk, I always look forward to a good trip, although I admit I can get paranoid before I take them. But every time I wonder what I was worried about!

I dont mess with cubes too much anymore, pan cyan varieties offer a smooth - LSD like experience. stoney, euphoric, colorful and vibrant patterns.

I've taken quite large doses and have only had 1 bad experience.
Well, 2, but the second one was on a low dose, like 3-4 grams.

I don't get the "hangover" from mushrooms like I do with LSD. need a whole day to recover. Mushrooms after it is over I feel pretty good, especially in my psyche - "state of mind"

Acid is some weird synthesized drug that's likely very hard to make while shrooms are naturally occurring, so it makes sense that there's a lot less negative side effects. I've never been sure my blood was boiling or gone into an 8 hour laughing fit on shrooms. laughing for 8 hours is a lot worse than it might seem. it hurts.
I only like small doses of mushrooms, but I hear you can "shatter the ego" and have usually positive life changing experiences with large doses. A lot of people would probably benefit from heavy but controlled enviornment mushroom trips. In amsterdam...

mycelium is very similar to the neuron net work of the brain and that we are closer to fungi than plants. I believe in a reparative dose, thoughts are much easier to control and mend new pathways of positive integration.

Honestly shrooms have a way heavier body load, more mind fuck then good L
And not hard to make for most trained chemist, but hard to retrieve precursors 8)
