You think? In my experiences storing hash was so hard, it would melt all the time and when i put it in the fridge to harden back up it would change texture alot.

you would probably want to store it in the fridge or somewherre in your basement
hash stays fresh longer because only the outside can deteriorate for the most part.
you need to take measures to make your hash dry so it will be free of rot when stored.
