my buddy totaled his car tonight...
I got a call around 3am and he was all shaken up so I knew something was wrong
I drive out to the scene and his car was completely fucked... engine was sitting in the grass, windshield smashed, and the whole front end completely fucked
Luckily the cops didnt fuck with him too bad, I ended up giving him a ride back home. I am sure he's going to be in some shit, it was his moms car and only had liability insurance
no drugs or alcohol involved luckily and he doesnt seem to be hurt too badly.. complaining about his ribs but for not wearing a seatbelt and hitting a tree at 70mph, he is very lucky

Texting and driving?
My car got totalled in 2012. My ex fell asleep at the wheel going 65 + and almost drowned because the car flipped into a river. Car accidents are no joke.

I think he might have just been going too fast for the road and not seen the turn or something

dude, texting and driving is insane around here. every other car is some idiot starring down at his or her phone. i like to causally get in front of them and then hit the breaks.
go ahead and rear end my car.
"im not sure what happen, officer. the car in front of me hit their brakes and took off."
here in texas they check your phones to see if you were texting.

Yeah I dont know whether or not he was on his phone
He called me freaked out because he didnt know how to handle the situation since he had paraphernalia on him and what not.. He was NOT under the influence
But I went out regardless, helped him get rid of his paraphernalia and gave him a story for the state troopers (a deer ran across the road and swerved to miss it)
They didnt fully buy the story based on the speed that he hit the tree at but they had no proof otherwise so they let it go
