I lost my marijuana virginity

Rightio, this is my first post on here so bare with me. I've literally just came back inside from having my first try of weed. My friend, who'd done it before had made a two skinner joint. I had three puffs of it as I don't smoke and it was pretty fucking harsh. So anyways, this is what happened.

On my first drag, I held it for about 3 seconds before exhaling and I felt pretty mellow, but it was a brand new feeling to me.

On the second drag I felt a tiny bit sleepy for a few seconds straight after and that was that.

On the third I just felt as if I needed to throw up so I gave it a rest.  All together I wouldn't say I got high, since the feeling I felt on the first drag only lasted about 5 seconds. However I did get confused easily after that (thinking tomorrow was friday instead of Monday etc).

I really expected to be high so it was a bit of a disappointment when I wasn't. Does anyone have any tips on what to do differently next time?

The first time I got really high was when smoking with a few seasoned pros a month or two after I first started. The bong gets passed around a bunch in a short amount of time around stoners. Its hard to smoke at first especially when you don't have any water to cool/filter and until you get your lungs up to speed you probably won't smoke enough to get high.

I smoked at least 5-10 times (Stepdad always passed it to me, I would hit it and then laugh at how he was blowing money on such shit.) before I ever felt it, then when I did, I was blown. away.

I was 11 the first time I smoked and I didn't get high, the next time, I was stoned and hated it. I didn't enjoy weed til my mid-twenties.

Primo weed has no seeds (or very, very, very few. Maybe 1 or 2 in a bud).

Was it brick weed (compressed into a brick), or was it fluff (still looked like a plant bud)?

I got high(ish) the first time I smoked, but I was smoking brick weed. A few months later when I had expensive weed me and two of my buddies got blazed as fuck.
