most strains, no. Novelty strains like ducksfoot might be able to be ID'ed solely on appearance.

it is possible to say what it is not according to the buds i assume many people can tell if something that is indica is trying to be sold off as haze and whatnot.

It's possible to guess the winning lotto numbers but hard.
A positive ID means correct. Not guessing 20 times and getting it right. Pretend someone cuts a finger off every time you guess wrong and you need to physically write the strain name down using your hands. You're not going to positively ID a strain.

It might not be very possible to identify a specific strain by a specific breeder, but it is possible, of course, to identify genetics in a general sense (i.e. telling the difference between a Haze and an Afghani, etc.). It would all come with the experience with working with all of these strains, of course.

Yeah, exactly why I bothered asking lol.
I know people like that in real life they'll get cooked, sit quietly for an hour and say they were hardly high

im pretty sure you won't be able to find anymore ducksfoot genetics unless you see it in an auction. You might find some other growers who have some to spare. But as far as i know wally is in jail and is not breeding at the moment
