sounds about normal...
a oz of nice trim/shake usually give 2-3 grams i find

if u do iso oil ... u get much better ratio....

im investing in a whole setup vacuum pump, desiccator, new pyrex dishes, some anti freez gloves ima see if i cant get some good wax goin down in texas

My tube fits about 2oz in her and I've been pulling 7-10 grams a run. From what I've been finding its all about the materials. When using trim I get less than when I'm using nuggets due to when I filter out the fats/waxes/lipids.

I used to make hash with trim and bubble bags. Redry it and then use the bho method to produce even more. It works well. you won't end up with tons of bho but it does work. try it sometime.

after ive ran my butane through the tube i save all the bad butaney shit and let it hang outside in a white silk bag for a few days then make butter

I have been ever since cannabis cup. It seems like im the only one in town who knows how, the headshops have shitty glass nails that crack on first torch and the stuff i do make looks like crap to what i got in colorado.
Ive done the bho with a glass tube, filter...no filter, mean skreen filter, slow purge, fast purge, whipped, not whipped and it always comes out all black and tarry.
Maybe its just shit weed? Ive been practicing with reg in preperation for my northern lights harvest. Maybe thatll be better.

agreed.... its alot of work for a oz of buds... u may only get 2-3 grams (or less). Bubble bags are better for trim/shake/bunk stuff.... turn garbage into gold.
u may get 4-6 grams with bho tho. (one tube, 2 cans)

Do you mean you used the buds that had been shaken in the bags and blasted them to get the last remaining(what i and i think most people call the pressed buds leftover from rosin pressing) trichomes? i've been thinking about saving all my stems and "rosin chips" and blasting them once I save up enough to fill up my tube.

Quality has a lot of to do with overall recovery (yield is not the correct term). You get out what you put in. If you use bunk herb your recover will me mediocre at best.
