Is phosphoric acid as a ph adjuster bad for organic gardening? Are my microbes being harmed by the half tea spoon I'm using per gallon of water?

No they are not. Phosphoric acid does not harm anything in small amounts, hell, they put it in food products.

Yup and if i remember correctly the general hydro ph down is food grade phosphoric acid with an orange dye
