kk, well I just checked the girls from the watering yesterday and they exploded, could not believe how much they grew in less then a day

well ive read a lot in grow books and online that newbies at growing tend to over water there plants a lot and kill it so I was trying to be careful in not doing that... figured I would rather water less at a time and more often them to much at once.
well I only used 2gallons of water yesterday between the 12 plants and I ended up having a lot of run off.. should I stick with the 2 gallons next watering and work my way up or jump up in using more water next time

Idk why you took that personally but you obv did, so my bad. Also I think by now, the whole newbies overwatering thing is not even a generalization, but a misconception.
Mostly any good book will explain that cannabis likes to be watered thoroughly and rarely, which is the opposite of a little bit, but more often.
You should just do the 1/2 gal per plant.

My advice, is if you want to store water.. just plain like 50-100ppm tap water... put it in a jug and leave it at room temperature..
as far as mixing nutrients, after my last watering i will never premix nutes again. sugars, bacteria, nutrients.. its a bad mix to leave and cultivate in your water..
its one thing if your just mixing it up, wam-bam shake & bake and then water. i just like my water to be room temp before i mix and water, thats the best way.

 I keep my water at room temp. too. If its too cool I can see my girls wilt bad and thats not good!!
I never needed to heat any or would i for any reason . Dump out the left over food man. After you do some mixes you will learn how much you need to mix with out waste
