Okay, just finished a pack of cigarettes. Gonna try and make this my last pack. I quite cold turkey in the past and lasted 2 years. Lets see if it will stick this time!!

Same thing for me. I quit for 2 years. Then one night bam!! Now I'm worse then before. Good luck!

Thanks! Since I started working again I've been smoking even more. A cig at each bus stop, a cig on break, a cig at lunch, a cig at the next break, and then another on the ride home. Plus when I go drinking I smoke like a fucking chimney. That's going to be the hardest part. Thinking of maybe getting an e cig for when I'm out drinking.
On the plus side I'm getting over 1200 back on my tax returns

Ya its like a time burning thing. In my day it's like, wake up smoke..coffee, smoke..... walk smoke.. etc. Its endless hahah! Ive tried the e-cig. Its not bad, but definitely not my thing.
you could buy twice as much weed with tax money? to help cope for a bit? hahahah

Oh I grow, I have no need to purchase ganja. Although my supplies are running low and it's about 2 months away from harvest. Although i do have new strains in there this time, looking forward to that!!
I've tried the e-cig, my only problem with it is how hard you have to pull to get a hit from it.
But yeah I'm in the same boat, morning coffee and walk to the bus stop means a cigarette. Working down in the grow room, why not a have cigarette.

Cigarettes are the only thing I can honestly say have got me hooked.
I have no problem whatsoever stopping myself from getting stuck on oxycodone, or even cocaine (  ) but cigarettes have me by the balls. 
I had an idea, but I don't know how well it would work:
Keep smoking cigs until I'm about to harvest, and then take ALL the leaves and dry them. Roll into 1g joints and each time I want a cigarette I'd just smoke one of those.
Since I can't smoke joints just anywhere in public, I'd quickly learn to do without having smoke in my lungs at all times.

I am four or five days cold turkey as well.
I quit on Friday when I started feeling this pneumonia, still have almost half a pack of marlboro southern cuts in my room I haven't touched. Only been smoking weed (but less than normal to help my lungs) and enjoying my Codiene.

Not sure if you wanna quit tobacco or nicotine entirely but some snus or ecig would help a lot.

Anyone who has succesfully quit, how much of a difference did you notice in your breathing as well as mood afterwards? And by mood I mean AFTER you're officially done, comletely out of your system, no mood swings from detox.

After a few months I was OVER it, didn't want it, didn't like it, had absolutely no desire to smoke. It disgusts me now, I hate the smell and and can't a cig if I try now. I feel better without it, it only makes u actually feel good at first, then after a little while its just feeding an addiction and makes u feel normal, which is y smokers r so cranky without it, but without the need for it I feel normal on my own. Well I smoke a shit load of weed, like as much weed as smokers smoke tobacco if not more in se cases. Weed really helped me quite tobacco. If ur having a super hard time quitting, and believe me I know wut a super hard time u can have, reward urself with a blunt with some fire in it, it'll take the edge off for sure, I cheated once in a while with blunts but u gotta be honest and not smoke more than like 1 blunt a day

When you quit, if you have a relapse, try not to use it as an excuse to go back to full on smoking. I smoked for over 20 years and haven't smoked at all for at least 5. When I fell off the wagon I just shrugged it off and just never bought another pack. You have to convince yourself you're not a smoker and if you do smoke you're not converting back to your normal self but rather you're partaking in an anomaly.

For me it was just getting past the first few days avoiding the boredom and break in my routine. I was we'll over it though and picked up weed a couple months after kicking tobacco so I guess I cheated.

I tried them on brand new e-cigs, so that obviously wasn't the problem.
Thanks for the support guys, my throat feels shitty then today, not from smoking, so I think that I'll just keep trying until it sticks.

Hope u get away from the tabaco, 
I only smoke rolled cigs after work (when i'm outa the good green stuff) and at party's I also smoke like a chimney as u said it hawk.
