 Gotta quit the weeds...

for a little while
its really taking its toll on my wallet, my lungs and my mind
quitting for a while has been on the back of my mind for years but honestly I cant remember the last time I didnt smoke for 24 hours
and today I found out I have to go back to school for a few weeks to finish up classes and the deal was I can go back for free if I agree to stop smoking as much (and I will have a few quantitative drug tests)
I dont really HAVE to quit for school, but I figure its a good time to take a break, and then by the time im done hopefully ill be clean enough to get a better job (since EVERYWHERE around me seems to drug test)
Anyway I feel its for the best, my goal is a week clean (small goal right now but I think its gonna be pretty tough)
Just dont know what im gonna do with all this extra energy that will be coming back, I remember why I started smoking every day in the first place
well shit anyway, just thought I would share
I have some JWH and some psychs to help me get through this, just hope they dont test for K

I've learned this. the more days you go without weed, the less you care that you don't have any.
it'll probably be a about 2 weeks before you don't mind the abstinence.

Yep, exactly right.
I stopped caring after about 11/2 but almost didn't want to smoke by about 2.
It's not the end of the world man.
Try stopping heroin after 4 straight years and you will have a problem. You'll be fine, and might find that you actually like your sober self. I do.
I just have that special place for Cannabis in my  that will never go away.

Quitting smoking for a while wont be that hard man. I have faith in you! But also you should grow your own when you come back to ol' Mary.

im on my 5th day off in almost 2 years
i feel great, especially sense i got serious about exercising again.
but shit i am ready to smoke again.
soon enough though, this short break is for the same reason, money.

This is great advice. I did the same after my first bust whne i lived at home. I'd run to the gym everyday and lift some weights. Oh i felt great even without the weed. that lasted a few months, then i started getting high before i lifted and found it helped me center myself (light doses). Who doesn't want to be stronger? I need to get back into it.

You'll have the rest of your life to blaze it up.
It sounds like you got a very good reason to quit...especially if your schooling is paid for. I had a free ticket to college and fucked it up royally. I went back again and fucked it up....now I'm 20,000 in debt with nothing to show for it. I am constantly kicking myself in the ass for it.

Dude i thought it would be hard, if you dont buy it you dont need it, its so easy, you forget about it by the 3rd day, I did, and you don't even wanna go back once you have a nice streak going trust me, I felt bad breaking my 3 day streak !

Its cool I can enjoy my life just as much without smoking weed
there are thousands of other chems that make me 
and I just got back from drifting my car around in the snow, if I was high I would have been sitting at home playing video games cause its 10f outside
im just trying to stay positive, not smoking is way easier than I thought it would be, its been almost 35 hrs since my last toke
I even have amazing nug sitting here just testing my will
