I thought only 14 year olds who just started smoking weed didn't use grinders.
Whenever I read a post like this on here or meet someone IRL who doesn't own a grinder I always
A good 4 piece grinder will make your bud burn better, it's more economic, and it saves your kief!
If you think not grinding it keeps kief on your bud, that's retarded. Some kief will always fall off in prep, and a grinder catches it.
As for the coin thing, I just scrape my screen with a coin AFTER I pack my bowls. It does get some trichomes caught in the metal down.

It may be aesthetics, I don't know, but ground up weed looks sucky to me. I just love squishing a nice nug into my bowl. I think it might even taste better, too. Wouldn't you rather eat steak than hamburger?
