So after reading this article I was wondering how many of you would leave earth forever to colonize and live on mars?

I wouldn't wanna be one of the first groups. I'd also want to be able to have a dog and bring some chronic seeds. Those are really my only requirements for anywhere lol.
The trip there would be bad for me. I'm a bit claustrophobic. Sp.

I think colonizing another big rock, be it the moon or mars, is the giant leap man kind needs to make to continue survival so I'd be pretty excited to be a part of such a big step for us, earth is too crowded and the more people living on it the more it suffers

I'd be willing to help establish a human presence on the moon, maybe even live there primarily.
Mars is to far away for my taste, and to much work to terraform mars... I'd rather just fix earth.
But if people want to that's cool, that Mars One thing looks hilarious.
