Im good. Start a new job today. Have been out of work since February so
its good to start doing something again. But the first day/week is always kind of shitty getting used to new people and such.

Didnt get either of the jobs that I wanted, but got hired doing telemarketing windshield replacements
It's a complete bullshit/ scam job. The money is pretty shitty too. 50$ a sell and they are somewhat hard to get
started a 10 day taper of suboxone today

I need to stay clean and sober and find something to pay the bills
That sales job I got sucked ass. No hourly. I spent a whole day and made no money and it seems like it's kind of hard to make money at it in general.

I thought it was illegal to not pay at least a minimum wage per hour type of thing? Maybe I'm way wrong on that one though.

Businesses get away with a lot of shady crap like that. I've worked at a few places that pay cash under the table and, as far as the government is concerned, you don't even work there.
My friend's dad once worked for a taxi service that required you pay for your own gas. This was right when gas hit around 3 bucks in my area. There were days when he'd literally make nothing.

Most taxi companies hire drivers as independent contractors, and you have to buy your own gas/rent the car out for the night. That's not uncommon at all.
I have worked for a number of companies under the table, and enjoy doing so. But you're still getting that hourly wage.
Working solely on commission is apparently legal, but I would never do it.

Yeah it's a scam
He charges you 1$ a day to "Rent" a desk and that's your work station
You are an independent contractor, so if you get busted for insurance fraud, then it's on you and not on the owner. But the whole business is pretty shady
