Hey Ya'll
I am doing my first CFL grow. I have a 125 watt hydro farm cfl bulb that I am using for early seedling stage and possibly early veg. Adding 3/23 watt cfl's for flowering.
Ordered seeds from attitude Special Kush #1 Fem.
I have the process as far as seedlings protruding thru the soil. (see pics below)
my little grow setup (for now- ordered grow tent)
humidity domes
Okay so there was an issue with this guy ^^ I am gonna name her Sloan.
I knocked Sloan over in the process of moving the box around a bit...the seedling with a pretty big root popped out. I just buried it a bit, while leaving the top protruding a little.
Did I severely mess something up on her?
So yea...I will also put this log in the Grow Journals sections...
But if anyone has any constructive criticism on my grow, please don't hesitate to respond.

Looks to me like it just hasn't completely broken free of its root membrane. I dunno the technical term for it.
It should be fine, I'd leave it alone. If its really struggling, you can gently open it yourself, but I've killed a plant doing that before.

Yea I don't think I messed it up because I didn't cause any physical damage to it.... but I just don't know how much of the root was originally exposed before I knocked it over.

What I mean is I doubt it had anything to do with you knocking it over.
Inside of the seed there is a papery stuff that sometimes sticks to the first set of leafs there ("cotyledons"). Sometimes it gets stuck and they won't open right away. It has to do with how it broke out of the seed I think.

no no no.....I literally knocked over the entire solo cup, dirt, seedling and all.....I had to reconstruct it, and that picture is my end result.

Just let it be. That's the best thing you can do for it now that it's back in the soil. It will take a bit of time to recover.

Haha, they seem so slow when you see 'em every day, don't they?
I check my outdoor once a week usually, and each time I'm blown away at how much it grows in a week. When its in your house its hard not to watch em all day!

Its terrible...I check them, minimum 3 times a day. (gotta say goodnight to them every night right? LOL)

7 days and 6 hours in soil and my babies are looking nice.
^^ She is getting super big by the day.
So all in all I think they are doing well...
One question to all of you...
Should I repot now? Or still wait?
