My friend call me a "weed snob"  , just cuz I dont like smoking outta a bong, if the water is 6 months old. The water is dark and ashy and stinks  . A few of my friends keep their water in the bongs to "build character". I find this gross....
Personally i change my water every 2-5 sessions. That sweet mari jane tastes sooo much better with fresh water (and ice  )
SO how often do u change ur water?

i havent changed my water in a couple days but ive just been smoking little bits of bubble hash with a screen so theres nothing in the water, although it is getting a slight yellowness to it, Ill probably clean out my piece completely now that somebody has mentioned it

I do it when I notice its getting nasty. Which is usually every few days. I only smoke small snaps, so its not like I'm ruining the water when I have a session. Although I always do pull the ashes through, so it gets kinda gross.
I've been using my bubbler lately which is kindof a bitch to replace the water in, so thats a little nasty.
I smoke in my grow room, so I've always got a lot of gallon/2 gallon containers of water and a place to dump the old water. So its not like it takes much effort haha.

If im snapping bowls I change the water after every bowl or so. If i'm just sending vapor through my bong, tend to only change the water once a day/session. Makes me cringe if I see a bong that has anything other than crystalline clear water. Some people just don't give a fuck. Call me a snob, I like clean bong tokes where you can taste the weed, not ash and shit.
Its like some people smoke roaches when they run out of weed. Or scrape resin from their bongs. Grimey motherfuckers.

I've gathered the resin from my bowls plenty enough when it was dry of weed here... Quite disgusting... but my fuck does it get you high!

Since I smoke multiple times a day, and sometimes multiple times during the night, I change my bong water every 1-4 days.

Change water after every bowl and rinse the piece out every 3-4 bowls.
Can't stand dirty bong water, and hate smoking out of most of my buddies bongs because they never change their water or clean their bong it's fucking nasty.
