I am planning to do a grow at a location where the grow equipment will be the only thing wasting energy. The average (on the bill) was 12 kWh. Can someone explain to me what kWh means, and maybe give an estimate on how many watts I would be able to use 12/12 all month long? I tried to look it up, but its kinda confusing lol...

kwh stand for kilowatts per hour....i think
I'm not sure of the exact measurement, but if its anything like other kilo's in the metric system, there should be 1000 in a kilo.
So a kilowatt should be equal to 1000 watts.
I'm no electrician though and just guesstimating, so u might wanna double check my info before quoting me,

Using logic (note: my logic has nothing to do with fact, its just an assumption), I'd say that you could run 1 1000w for 12 hours a day without changing anything on the bill.
Or, 1 500w (or some combo of it) for 24 hours a day.
But I wouldn't really worry about it, unless something would be drastically changing. If I'm not mistaken, the power company doesn't give a fuck what you're doing as long as you're paying the bill. If the police has suspicions, they can probably request a copy of the info and nail you, but the company themselves probably couldn't give a fuck less.
Its like pirating music on the computer. Your ISP isn't gonna do anything until they get threats from someone else.

I understans kWh represents killowatt an hour, but what is killowatt an hour? Is it 12,000watts running 24/7? Or 12000 whasted in a week/month?
Im trying to go for as much as possible, but all electronics running there now will not be there.

Idk, I guess 12000watts running for 12 hours a day for 30 days would be 4320000 watts or 4320 kw.
Then divide that by the number of hours in a month (720) is 6kWh? ...i can see how its too good to be true tho..
