I think I got spider mites on a few of my indoor plants. What can I do to get rid of them? I am looking for something inexpensive that will not make my buds unsafe for human consumption.

Mites are a pain in the ass. Don't delay in attempting to deal with these bastards, they grow fast and can ruin a crop relatively quickly.
Immediately remove leaves or portions of the plant that are heavily infested.
Example:
Wash the remainder of the plant with a light soap & water solution, use a soft cloth to swipe each leaf clean. You may want to repeat this process after two weeks to insure that the next generation of mites that have hatched from eggs that were still stuck on the plant are removed before they can reproduce again.
