Just came up with this video. Let me know what you all think.
I'll be hosting a free glass give-a-away once I get all situated and whatnot. Keep an eye out for it, I haven't decided if I'm going to do it on the shroomery or the growery.

It has it's moments, the worst being when you grab hot glass with your bare hands. It's paid off so far though, besides it being extremely expensive.

This has always been something I've wanted to try but with the cost of equipment it's not something I can just fiddle with every time I talk to local artists I ask if they teach or apprenticeship but so far I've had no luck

Yeah, I'm at $1k right now and I have yet to get a kiln. It's pretty expensive, but worth it more or less. Maybe try out a hot head, it's a $35 torch that you can do "soft" glass with. Only beads and stuff really, but a good learner.
