Outdoor MJ plants already budding. Need help. (pic update)
    #553484 -

I put my mj plants outside that I cloned in February too early. They started budding about two weeks ago. Normally I put seeds in the grown in my area around Good Friday every year. This year I put my plants out in early April. The plants are already nice size bushes. There is a lot of bud already growing on them. My question is I think they will go back into veg but,I'm wondering how long it may take to go out of bud? Will it hurt them in the end or will it not make a difference? They still have at least 100 days left till I normally harvest. Should I cut of all flowering parts or just let them do there thing?

What part of the country are you in??  That's gonna help tell us when they revert back to veg.

The plants themselves will suffer a bit since they're going to have to revert back to veggin and then flower again.  But this will only more than likely just hurt your yield a little bit.  Don't cut the part that are trying to flower.  Let em be and your plant should do it's normal thing eventually.

All the better man, just let them flower for another couple months and you should be able to plant their seeds and harvest again by October.  You'll be getting two harvests out one season.  :feelsgoodman:

Thanks guys. I'll let them be.I'm in the S.E. USA. They will not ever seed. They are all females. I know they will stop budding I was just wondering about how long it takes. I was not suppose to put them out in my part of the country till after 4-20 this year but, I didn't realize till it was to late. I put them out about ten days earlier than I should of. They were already nice size plants when I put them out.

SE USA doesn't really tell me much man.  But my guess is that you're starting to hit the longer hours of the day, and that will continue on for awhile.

ETA for reverting back to veg, 3 weeks until they are into full veg mode.  But this is all going to depend on what the light cycles are doing in your area right now.  Also if your having unusually cloudy weather that wont help any at all.

Thanks. About 3 to 4 weeks is what I figured it would take.

Can you post some pictures of them or are they too small too even matter.  If they do revert back to veg, there's a good chance they will hermie...and definately produce seeds.  Either way, keep up the good work.

Is it true that the seeds from a hermie will most likely produce hermie plants?

There is no for sureness about this at all.  I have put plants through this intentionally just to mess with them and had no problems what soever.

From judging the middle picture, I think they have a great chance of hermying.  I say this because the early budding is shown through the pistil formation in that they are somewhat sporatic and almost look genetically mutated.  Normally, you see little clusters of pistils rather than tufts.  It could be because the male pollen sacs are forming, maybe not.  Either way, I think it should be interesting to watch them grow.

The second pic is the one in the clay pot that is in front of the chair in the first pic. It is the only indica out there. Maybe that is why the hairs look different.

If nothing else it is a learning experience. I've never put plants out to early before. This is the first time out of many grow seasons that this has happened to me.

My blueberry autos started budding about a week ago. They are only about 10 inches tall. It's the first autos I've ever planted.I'll probably only get a couple grams off each plant.

a friend of mine had a little girl that popped up outside from us smoking and throwing seeds in his yard and she started budding so we let it go till we saw crystals then dug her up and put her inside under a shitload of cfl's to finish:thumbup:
