Trannies?

I am growing from bag seed. I started w/ approximately 100 seeds, only 12 of which sprouted. Of the 12, 5 were male, and were trashed. The plants are approximately 3.5 - 4.0 months old (from time of planting.) The soil is a mix of coco coir, vermiculite and perlite. I water and fertilize the plants every two days, and heavy fertilize once a week. The PH is always between 6.0 and 6.5. I spray the plants daily with PH-balanced water. Fruiting w/ 400w HPS, vegg'd w/ 400w MH. Temperature peaks around 84, drops to around 65. I have constant air circulation. I have noticed two small insects in the last two days.
With those questions answered, while performing my daily check on the plants, I noticed what appear to be seeds on my otherwise obviously (to me) females! I saw these on at least two of my seven plants. Is this due to poor genetics? Is it worth finishing the grow? What can I do??

You can rip their nuts off. This far in I'd just finish it out and start some new seeds or clones from the ones that don't hermy. Hopefully the hermy ones aren't your favorite of them, had that problem once. Was so sad to lossing something so exceptional just cause it occasionally had balls.

Yank the herms and keep going with the rest. As long as no male flower has opened, you are fine. The herms will eventually make pollen so yank them.

Some herm's don't produce pollen. Yours with big balls like that I'm sure are full of it. The ones they may or may not produce pollen are the bananas, anything that has full out nuts most likely is loaded. I wouldn't ditch the plant yet unless it throws a male branch out. Too each there own though. Just go get them balls out and wait and see.

Crap! That's what I get for growing from bag seed, I suppose - and go figure that I already have a two week old mother clone of the best looking plant, which is a hermie.
Last question... if I let the herms finish, are they still smokable? I assume they would be 'mid grade', on the market (as they would have seeds).

Mid grade I doubt. If the plants high grade its high grade a couple seeds in my mind dont change that. Also if you get sensi with seeds they were caused by a hermy generally leading to future hermy plants.

These plants should be finished in early June. I may just let them go, pull of any balls that I see, and then start my next cycle with some proper seeds or clones.

You know that if they end up putting off pollen, you'll have to scrub your whole room VERY well to keep from having seeds in your next grow...

Actually tank its very hard to keep pollen alive, I try on purpose and still I'm lucky if it lasts a month. With the conditions in most grow rooms pollen is lucky if its still viable after a day.
