I was wondering when making acetone hash is it best to use wet/frozen trim? Or is it best to use dry trim. I've noticed when soaking frozen buds/trim for 20mins that the solution is usally pretty green. Im guessing theres a good amount of chorphyl present making the acetone to appear really green in color.?
Personally I dont soak but rinse. Also I feel like I get less chloryphl using dried leaves but I rinse and don't soak. I dont freeze my leaves which I should but I always freeze the solvent. Also I know your acetone probably evaps clean but I prefer knowing something was food grade to start with. So I generally use everclear even though its expensive compared to other solvents. Nothing against your tek just my preference.
Alright cool thanks. Im gonna try my next run using dry material. I also may try using hexane the next time around. I would use everclear but its pretty hard to come across here.
