Ok, so i have a lot of hash oil laying around from an acetone extraction. I know that acetone tends to dissolve mostly everything out of the plant material, including chlorophyll and some of the protective waxes produced by the plant.
My question is: is there a good way to purify this hash oil somehow?
I was thinking of redissolving it in ether/hexane (starting fluid) or naptha in order to leave behind a lot of the more polar impurities. Then maybe wash the solution with water in a sep funnel.
I have also seen suggestions of mixing activated charcoal into a solution and then filtering the solution to remove a lot of the more polar impurities. Would this only work for solvents like ether or can I do this with acetone as the solvent?
Please feel free to post suggestions or ideas, Thanks in advance

I was just jumping on to post almost this exact same question. The only difference is that I have about 750ml of white gas that has been filtered with lab paper as much as it will filter.
I am also wondering if there is a way I can purify this further (get rid of chlorophyl and any other plant material) before evaporating the gas.
