When should you start giving your plants nutrients? I understand miracle grow probably isn't ideal, but will it work? I also have access to alot of natural nutrients. Spent coffee? Worm castings? Old horse poo? Blood meal?
I am very interested in gaining more information on nutrients and nutrient cycles. If anyone could point me in the right direction i would be thankful.
Nutrients should be started 1 to 2 weeks after the seed has germinated.
While miracle grow is not the best, it will work, the main thing is to not over do it. That applies with any fertilizer.
As far as natural/organics, you can use those too and there is a ton of literature around this site and elsewhere about the different types/sources of fertilizers for cannabis, and their proper application.
When fertilizing, pH is extremely important, bc if the pH is not right then the roots lock up and won't take advantage of all the nutrients that you are trying to give them.
My suggestion would be to look around and use the search function up at the top right of the page, and google has supplied me with most of the information that I haven't been able to find on here. I would tell you all about it but it would take a novel to completely cover everything.
Good luck and peace, agmotes165
