Having a problem with my new light it's a 1000 watts n I unplugged pretty much everything n my surge protector keeps turning it off ne ideas how to make this not happen

Yep. Also, I'd try a completely different outlet if possible to reduce stress on the wiring. Run an extension cord if you have to.
-------------------- Of course it's happening inside your head. Why should that mean it isn't real?
Well the only thing plugged in is my light I have a fan on them usually but it keeps going out n my whole bedroom is all on one breaker so I try running from another bedroom maybe?
forget about the fancy talk and just try plugging your light into other outlets until it works ,use a extension cord if you need to !
circuits are like channels ,you kitchen may be on one circuit while your living room my be on another and to flick the breaker switch's [the main power box]is how you can see what runs on what circuit ,and if you overload a circuit with to much power it will trip the breaker off or in your case your serge protector
