htg sweet thanks im gunna check em out thanks for the info about the electrical too i was wondering about that its a legal grow so i wont have to worry about the cops but i will be worrying about burning down the house and ill look into the hydro. will i beable to grow 6ft plants via hydro? i can only grow 7 plants so i wanted them to be nice n fat maybe shooting for a lb per plant. or somewhere around there thanks that helped alot yall are the shit

Shootin' for the moon, huh? 6ft plants and pulling a pound a plant just isn't realistic for an indoor grow especially for a beginner. Yes, you'll hear about people getting a pound a plant from a 400, two pounds from a 600 and so on. Forget that shit, your main concern right now should be learning the fundamentals, once you get that, focus on growing healthy plants.
I see too many people get ahead of themselves by setting outrageous goals before they have even popped a seed. Go blow all kinds of money thinking its no sweat because now they're a "Grower" and gonna be servin' pounds of dro in no time. Then you watch them start plants and kill them before they even got close to harvest and can't figure out where the fuck they went wrong.
A huge part of yield, aside from lighting, is genetics, there are strains out there that will yield an elbow a plant no problem, some more. Thing is, the biggest yielding strains aren't usually the most potent, so you wanna do more research and find out what strain is gonna give you an acceptable yield and still have enough potentcy to keep you happy.
You would be wise to set a more attainable goal of like 4oz a plant, which is still pretty damn high for a lot of people. This is very doable with dual 600's and the right strain though. Think about it, if you averaged a QP a plant x7, thats gonna be one pound, twelve ounces. Which would be considered to be a DAMN healthy indoor harvest around these parts.

lol ya kinda jumpin the gun ive harvested a few times so im not that new but i hear ya i think im gunna try some grape diesel which is said to yield pretty good . just excited to get started really that light kit works for mh too? just need the bulb . RF shielded socket/cord set. ? whats that . and recomendations on strains? they have a big selection of clones thanks im gunna check out your grow log.. thanks

Alright, good to know you've got an idea of whats goin' on. Yeah, that ballast will run HPS and MH bulbs. Digital Greenhouse ballasts are known to cause interference. The RF shielded cable is to prevent interference in your electronic devices throughout your home, mainly TV and radio. The socket cord will act like an antenna and broadcast it's 'noise' to your television and radio, the shielding is there to prevent this.

There are sooo many strains out there, its hard to nail down even a few favorites.. I'm a huge fan of OG Kush, really wish I could grow it out, but thats one of those clone only strains. I also fucking loved Strawberry Cough, been a while since I've seen that around, thought about growing it too, but I hear it yields pretty light.. I may end up doing it anyway sometime in the future. I guess those are the only two that really stand out and grab my attention.
Unfortunately I haven't had the pleasure of smoking any of the strains I'm growing now, but I have a very strong feeling the Ice is gonna be it, though the Fly Trap seems to be looking tastier by the day.

I just checked and looks like theres alot more people selling them on ebay.
I bought from HTG and the stuff I got was ok but really it was cheap for a reason.
the reflector from HTG was all all bent up. This was 5 years ago though.

hell ya i think ima try to grab a strawberry cough clone at the shop im pretty sure they have it ya i think im gunna be buyin me a light pretty soon i got the money whats the best nutrient kit to get for a soil grow just got some legal spice from ebay cause im outa state right now and cant score . its actually not that bad

If you VEG an Sativa dominate plant and you know what you are doing, in 3 months then thing will become 4+ feet tall. An Indica plant will become close to a foot tall after a month of vegging.
That is with strong plants and proper nutrition.

the fuck are you talking about? All three of these are indica dominant plants only 3 weeks old, about 18 inches tall. Also, I can veg a sativa for a year and keep it under 3 feet, it's all about knowing what you're doing with training.
