Spider mites/unknown possible deffeciency. (edited w/ pics)
    #49101 - 06/02/08 04:19 PM (15 years, 9 months ago)

Okay. i have spider mites, and i just figured that out scanning the forum just now. otherwise, i had no idea what the hell they were. But Im going to spray my plant down tonight when the sun goes down. is there anything else i should do other than spray the whole plant for a few days? its a tiny plant, barely into veg.

also, i have a tiny rip in ONE leaf, not all the way through, but its a bit yellow around. also, im beginning to notice random yellow spots forming soon in random leave spots.

pictures later, i promise. but i'd like some advice if i could have any now, please?

EDIT: here are the pictures of the rip/yellowing leaves.

so youve seen actual mites then? cuz ive had a rip in a leaf and i never figured out what did it, but i dont have any pests. how small is the plant, like an inch? 4 inches, how many leaf sets. the yellowing could just be nute burn. have you given it nutes? are you growing hydro or soil?
a pictures worth a thousand words.

your plants look fine, if it's the single bladed leaves that are dying off it's no problem. That tear could have been caused by anything, just keep an eye out for more.
