How can you guys "not believe in 2012?" I can guarantee with absolute 100% certainty that after 2011 there will be a 2012. You're retarded if you don't believe that will happen.

I don't buy into the hype any more. Remember when everyone freaked out about Y2K? sure the year happened, but nothing else noteworthy went down. The electricity stayed on, the computers worked fine, and Jesus certainly didn't come back.

Yeah, for instance science. But still it's hard to predict exactly what it's effect will be. They are predicting stronger than the storm that occurred in 1958 which produced auroras as far south as mexico. We didn't have all the satellites that we do back then. It's any ones guess.

It's a matter of timing from my understanding. Depending on when the peak occurs, and what is in the path of it, different levels of destruction could occur.
Currently there is a bill in congress that would call for the protection of the grid in case of a worst case scenario.

No one knows for sure what is going to happen if anything so its
best to carry on as usual. Ive decided to just go with the flow so
to speak. Whatever happens I will keep a positive mindset.
But the whole solar storm thing is a very real problem. It has happened before
on the scale they are predicting and there is no doubt it will happen again.
Will it happen in 2012?? Maybe maybe not but regardless we are do for such an
event soon. You guys remember the black out a few years back on the east coast?
Think of that on a worldwide scale. And then think about living like that for
up to a year or two because there will be no one that can fix that shit sooner.
The modern world will not know what to do with it self. We would be forced to
work together with our neighbors and family to eat and to stay alive or you
will be in for some rough times.
It would be the end of the world AS WE KNOW IT

I'm fairly certain I could survive where I'm at. We produce a lot of food here with plenty of fresh water. Everyone should have at least a hunting rifle and some ammo in case shit goes down.
