 Teen takes own life after smoking legal high

A churchgoing teen has killed himself after smoking incense and telling friends he was "going to hell".
The Iowa youth had just graduated when he tried the potent but legal drug.
18-year-old David Rozga reportedly suffered a severe panic attack before he went home and shot and killed himself.
Rozga and two friends were smoking K2 on June 6, according to the Des Moines Register. K2 is a synthetic version of marijuana sold in stores as incense; though the label warns it's not for human consumption, it has become a popular drug among teens and young adults.
His friends told police Rozga "freaked out", telling them he was "going to hell". After walking around a local park, he said he was going to sleep.
Instead he went home and killed himself, the paper reports.
Rozga's parents described him as a churchgoing boy who loved worshipping with his music.
His mum Jan denied that her son, who was heading to the University of Northern Iowa in August, was depressed.
"If you don't care about life, you don't make plans, you don't work hard," she told the Register. "It just doesn't compute. It does not make sense."
Since his death, drug control tzars have issued a warning on the drug, also known as 'Spice'.
"It causes hallucinations," says Gary Kendell, the director of the Governor's Office of Drug Control Policy. "That doesn't happen with marijuana."
K2 is already banned in Sweden, Switzerland, Germany and France.

Well if he thought that he was going to hell when he died why would he kill himself?
you would think he would want to live as long as possible on this earth before going to the hell, not immediately?
and How do these people not see that it was religion that made this kid kill himself not synthetic weed.

Anyone who is going to take their own life, usually can not be persuaded one way or the other just by getting high.

If his parents werents shoving crazy ass ideas of God, Hell and damnation into his dome from the time he was born, he probably wouldn't have gotten into a self-trip and bit the bullet.
I know on shrooms, I can get inside my mind, and I see things I do as 'needing change' (like not washing my dishes and needing to mow my lawn more) and I usually feel good that I understand there are things I fall short on (in my eyes) in life and I want to correct them for my own benefit and the benefit of those around me.
This kid might have gotten high, thought about how getting high makes you go to hell and decided he sucked so bad he needed to die.
I'm blaming the parents, if anyone.
/But really he probably just wasn't the smartest apple, and had MANY MANY underlying issues that were waiting to pop up with any way they can.
I'd hate to have seen this guy on good mushrooms....
