i wouldn't consider it stoner metal per se, but i am a stoner, and i enjoy this metal:

-Metallica
-Iron Maiden
-Black Sabbath
-Helloween
-Deep Purple
-Danzig

Some aren't exactly metal, more rock, and the whole stoner metal genre is mixed up with doom, sludge, and desert. It's really hard to differentiate sometimes.

i went and saw Iron Maiden last night. it was :awesome:

it was my second time seeing them, both times at VZW Ampitheater in Irvine.

we got 4 lawn tickets for 60 bucks so we knew we wouldn't be able to see shit and just get fuckin crunk

so we cached a handle of jim beam before the show, and smoked a shitload of kief and hash.

by the time we got to the lawn i could barely stand straight.

they started playing Rime of the Ancient Mariner which is like 10+ minutes so in the middle i busted out a fat J of that bubonic chronic (read: green CRACK!!)

some dude behind us smelled it and tapped me on the shoulder.

he's like "hey i smelled you guys smokin and shit, so here take this" and he gave us some nice little nugs of some maui wowi that we promptly did a burning ritual on with him.

after that point i was soooo fucked up.

the rest of the concert was fucking sick.

passed out in the car on the way home.

makes the drive from irvine REAL short :awesome:

good shit.
