man ive had some sweet ones. but after 2 1/2 years of house arrest, i either gave them all away or sold them...and being a stoner, you tend to break a lot of glass...at least i do

I traded a small bubbler and a mushroom print for that pipe to someone on the shroomery.  It's the only pic i have of my small glass collection online right now.  I love it to death, i couldn't believe he wanted to trade it away :laugh:

Naw...I wish I could blow glass....
Just pieces I've collected over the years...Especially Dead glass...The bowl on that Blue bear one costs more than the piece, I had it custom made for it...
Just one of my hobbies, collecting glass....Another reason I don't daily smoke the Kinds...Grate Mids works fine...

Really? Then why do you have so many pipes that all look the same? Nothing wrong with similarity, but in that first pic your 3 swirly pipes are almost identical, not to mention your bubblers.

Actually, they are Pieces of Art...as long as they are free of any resin (All are in new condition), they are just colored glass...
I have 2 pipes, one everyday, and one Special..and only 1 waterpipe in use...I have a Sneak-A-Toke when I travel.

drSe: looks like we have traded with the same guy..LOL...

And No Leo comin' inside W/O warrant, and since I live so D/L (No Traffic, I keep my place up, etc.) they would be hard-pressed to obtain one. I Do have my 215...

lol yeah I have a 5 year old homemade plastic bong made from a Razzles cup. It has a glass bowl in slider and hits like something you would get from the shop. Still miss my glass pipe tho...nothing beats a hit from nice glass.

Last glass I broke was a $20 3" blue, kinda thin pipe...named it Bluebird....It lasted 2 years, then I put my finger thru bowl while packing...

My current piece has at least 1 pound run thru it...still goin' strong...

i had a beautiful 150$ double blown, double chambered bubbler. she was beantiful, and it hit harder than a lot of the bongs ive hit. she was amazing.

one night i got barred out and pas packing the bowl on my knees/legs (while i was sitting down) and i shifted too much and the bowl fell off and shattered.

i cried for months

Can't and won't own glass anymore. I've broken every single glass piece that I've owned in my 14 years of pot smoking. No amusing stories, mine are all very sad deaths usually involving me standing up while the pipe is in my lap.

Though after getting pulled over and a cop finding a beer and metal pipe in my car, he told me to:
"Drop that pipe on the ground, and stomp on it until it's broken".
To which I replied "But it's metal..."

"Do what I say"

"Ok", and with that I dropped this metal pipe on the asphalt and started stomping it while he wrote my ticket for minor in possession of alcohol. When he was done, I was still stomping this metal pipe, he says "put that back in your car and get the hell out of here".

I still have the scratched-to-hell-and-quite-deformed bowl and elbow to this day. :stoner:

Well I bought it off a friend for $200 and the ATX Pro bowl was $60ish. Its the Little Sista Icemaster 7.0. Nothing insane but a great beginner roor. It made me trip out on a couple good rips of Granddaddy Purp. MFD's sis ftw!

the bowl is too small for my liking actually.  I should have bought a grinder instead.  oh well.  more glass to dirty up.  I like to get my pipes all black inside, filled with resin.  then if i ever run out it'll be my reserve.  that's what i used to do before i started growing it anyway.  now i have enough hash and weed to smoke to last another 6-9 months.  :lol:  it's a beautiful thing man and i hope you get to experience it someday soon.

This thread is full of mouth watering goodness. I picked up this pipe on my honeymoon in Vermont about 6 months ago, was originally 85 but she knocked it down to 60 when she found out it was our honeymoon. Plus she threw in a free case for it. There is some trainwreck in the bowl that was a wedding present from my older brother, some of the best weed I've ever smoked.

you know, that is the single best bowl I have ever owned...I have smoked with that same bong and the same herb with like five different bowls and that particular bowl has the nicest, smoothest hit out of all of them...there is a noticeable difference that even my friends and gf can tell, without me telling them which one I think hits better. I thought it was just a fluke so I have tried this experiment several times and the results are always the same no matter whats going on or who is smoking. My theory is that is has something to do with the significant amount of thermal mass in the form of a big cube of glass, and the little nozzle shape at the bottom of the bowl, which funnels the incoming smoke through about 1/2 inch of a thin, slightly tapered glass tube that increases the gas velocity and turbulence through that region...which facilitates heat transfer into the surrounding glass ^_^ I love my little bowl

I finally sucked it up and bought some new glass today.  Been needing to get with the times, so, I bought an up right with ground joints, diffused downstem, and an inline diffuser that can also be attached to a sherlock stem and used as a dry pipe.

The upright is a Hi Si pipe, not too familiar with the company, but it's amazingly thick and hits like a fucking champ.  Spent about 30-40 mins in the glass shop talking with one of the owners.  Really nice guy, had some absolutely beautiful glass in the store too.  Cut me a decent deal on the pipes too, all told I paid 250 for everything.  I'll definitely be heading in there again when I have some cash.

Yah, we were trying to find a downstem that would fit the bong and the ashcatcher.  Problem was they were either the size I have, or the down stem was too long and touched the bottom of the bong.  I didn't like the idea of the longer one breaking, and since I really don't use ice much in my bongs having extra water in the bottom doesn't bother me.  The draw is a little heavier due to the extra water, but overall leaps and bounds better then any other upright I currently own.

I've forgotten how nice it feels to get new glass.  It's been about 3-4 years.
