way to much, plants this small need to be watered once every three to four days.  You're literally drowning your plants.

what size container is your plant in?  I just assumed you had it in an 8 inch pot which may not be the case.  But a 6 inch plant in veg shouldn't need to be watered every day.  My mother plant, if she wasn't trained, would be close to 2.5 ft and I water her every 2-3 days.

1 cup of water???  You should be watering your plants so that you have a runoff of 10% of what you put in.  1 cup is a drop in the bucket.

What's the temperature of the water that your giving them???  If it's too cold or too hot it could shock the root system and make your plant wilt for a bit.

Man, no one can tell you exactly how often your going to need to water you plant.  There is no set schedule.  Every day feel the weight of your pot.  When it feels pretty light then it's time to water.  When you do water, water it slowly, a little bit at a time.  I like to pace it out over a period of hours.  This helps to ensure that you have an even saturation throughout your soil and there aren't any dry pockets.  Water it until you get a fair amount of water coming out the bottom.

So are you saying that your water is at room temperature???

Sit for how long?  It could be too cold, depending on container size and time it needs to sit out are going to increase dramatically the bigger your container of water.

Just make sure that it feels just very slightly cool to the touch.  Room temp is the best, right around 75 degrees.  I invested in an infrared thermometer similar to this

http://www.amazon.com/Ramsey-IR101-Automatic-Infrared-Thermometer/dp/B0002NRK3U/ref=sr_1_11?ie=UTF8&s=electronics&qid=1261118153&sr=8-11

It costs like 25-40 bucks depending on the brand/model you get, but well worth the investment.  I can check the temp of my leaves compared to the room temp, my water temps/soil.  It's great.  I really do use it on a daily basis.
