sound is some of it but primarily for me it's the neck dimensions. I prefer a much thicker rounded out neck, have a soft v shape neck.

I just have a simple Yamaha Pacifica, But I love the shit outta my guitar. Its not really a yamaha anymore though lol. I've replaced all the pickups and everything.

i love my 1980 black beauty les paul custom so much , i got all types of guitars strats , teles , gretsch's i definatly like the les paul custom the most tho, through a marshall amp the tones you can get are just amazing.

I used to have one and I loved it. I've a strat now and I feel the yamaha was nicer to play.
