 Grow Room Advice...Need Help Please.

I am atempting to build a grow room in my basement. Here's my question. I really don't want to have the plants out in the open. I was thinking of building 2 cabinets, would this be better than leaving the plants out in the open?
My thinking on leaving the plants out in the open is, odor, can be seen, light polution, not enough CO2. So I thought it would be better to build 2 cabnets to hold my plants. And being in the basement would cut down on a heat signature.
Also, if you run 4 400w halides 12/12, is the Electric company going to notice or is this a mthy?

no they aren't going to notice that as long as you pay your bill on time. You want cabinets big enough to house four 400w lights? You might as well just section the area off and have a flower and veg room. However, that might not be as inconspicuous as you're looking for. bonus tip, if you edit the subject of your first post you can change it to "grow".

Yes you could run a LOT more lighting and never have an issue with the power company. It is a myth. Sure if you spiked your bill by 1000% they might call up and wonder if everything is ok.
