New Setup
    #283856 - 09/21/09 11:38 AM (14 years, 6 months ago)

I'm busy now that school's starting, but I don't want to pay for my weed! :kingcrankey:

So I decided to start a grow. It's been a while since I've grown MJ, so I'm going small.

I plan on improvising off of NGB's Micro Box method, a method developed at OG.

Here's the basic outline:
- 150 w hps
- 2-6 CFL's (wattage pending)
- Active Air 6” In-Line Booster Fan 188 CFM
- DWC with either 4 or 5 net pots

Estimated grow area of 3' X 3'.

Also, I'd like to make this a perpetually harvesting grow.

I'm debating whether or not I want to drop the 67.37 for this cool ass office cabinet.

If not, I'll be constructing my own grow area using plywood and random wood scraps. The grow area will be similar in dimension and design to the cabinet in the link.

If some of you readers aren't familiar with NGB and his techniques, I'll briefly go over his Micro Box.

Utilizing a smaller grow space, I will be using either LST or ScrOG for the flowering chamber. The rest of the cabinet space will be divided into a utility chamber for all the electrical wiring, and a mother/clone chamber for developing clones from bonsai mothers.

I'm estimating a harvest of around 2-3 oz. dry weight by the end of a 9 week period.

If someone feels like something sounds off, or if there could be revisions made, I'm all ears.

I'm not really taking this grow too seriously, but any kind of suggestions will be taken into consideration.

DIY and buy 1/8 instead!

Your plans sound good to me, only thoughts are to go with more, lower wattage CFLs over the opposite, to cut down heat in the small space. Keep us posted.
