hello!
i need to make a cayenne tincture, but being a muslim im wary of using alcohol solvents, any one got any suggestions...

I'm not sure if it'll work for absorbing capsaicin, but what about glycerol?

wow hadnt thought of that...ive never used that stuff before, but ive heard it acheives good results- ill look into whether the cap. will go into the glycerol... THANK YOU!

I don't know if this will help, but this is a recipe for a spicy olive oil, you could sub cayenne for red pepper flakes, or use both.
To make the oil you need:
1 cup Olive Oil (use an extra ounce or so because you lose a little when you strain it)
4 tsp crushed red pepper flakes
4 tsp smoked paprika
1 lg clove garlic
¼ tsp salt
Put the oil, crushed red pepper, garlic, and paprika into a small sauce pan and watch for the garlic and pepper to start bubbling. Turn the stovetop to low and let simmer for 10 minutes. Remove from heat and let it cool for a ½ hour.
Line a funnel with a coffee filter and strain the oil into a jar.
From here you’ll want to follow the mariju-olive oil guide to incorporate your heady buds into the mix.
And here is how I do my cannabis oil. Olive oil has a ton of fat in it so you can drastically increase the amount of bud you put in there if you want to change the potency.
This is actually really fuckin' delicious and IMO cannabis is a much better savory herb than sweet.
