With a little over 7 sq ft, 250-400w hid or flouros are probably your best bet. Do you want to run perpetual, or veg and flower under the same light?
Also, sliding doors seem easier to make light tight than folding doors, but still hard.
Also also, are you going to vent through the door or make holes in the closet walls/ceiling? How important is stealth?

400w hid (air-cooled) will cover that area great. If the doorway allows access to the whole closet, fill that sucker up stadium-style, scrog or sog if you want. Intake vents low on the door, oscillating fan inside, exhaust through light, push air through scrubber and out top of door. Make sure the ducting from light to door doesn't interfere with door's opening powers before cutting holes. Ummm...those are my thoughts for this sort of area. Do you have any specific questions?

So, boondock (awesome btw!) hows the setup coming. I just signed up today, and im trying basically the same thing in the same amount of space. Hell, thats why i joined up, to ask the same thing you did.
