Blue Cheese
    #248767 - 07/12/09 04:10 PM (14 years, 8 months ago)

I have recently added a strain called BLUE CHEESE. I was wondering if anyone else have tried this strain yet, so I can get a better guesstimate of what to expect.

Expect very dank shit.  I was not involved with the production process, but I was involved in the testing process.  It seemed to have been one of the better performers in terms of quality (yield, I do not know).  Cotton Candy is the closest strain I've experienced that is like it, but blue cheese is even a lighter/higher high than that.

Very cerebral.  Very clear and cleen feeling.  No heavy weight feeling.  No muddledness in the head.  In fact, it may be the nicest cerebral high I've ever had, comparing it to strains like Cotton Candy, Pineapple Candy, Sweetooth (which may have been more heavy body now that I think of it, can't remember), etc....

Probably not the answer you were looking for, but thats all the knowledge I have to give you on it.  It seems to be a strain which not too many people have crossed paths with yet.

This was the opposite of what I expected, knowing about it's parents (UK Cheese) indica dominance. Thanks for the info.

That's interesting to learn.  Blue cheese is a new taste for me, would have never guessed it was indica dom.  Thank YOU for the info.

Barneys is the fucking nads! Christmas 2008 they has a ridiculously strong batch in. I had to go take a lie down cuz i didnt have a clue what was goin on.

I'm not sure what blue cheese that they sell in bluebirds, but that shit is absolutely gorgeous. Tastes and smells just like sweets. I ate one of the buds and it tastes just like it smells. :drooling:

Big Buddha's Blue Cheese is extremely popular - most people say it's more Blueberry than Cheese.

I'll pm you a link to something you'll find interesting.

So you bought it blind and now want to know info on it?  Doesn't that seem a little backwards?  Big Buddha stuff isn't cheap either, right?  What caused you to decide to purchase it?

Look bro, I don't need your negative comments. I was asking about the strain and if anyone has any experience with it. If that's not you, then move along.

I purchased it bc I liked the description on it.

I have the same right to post in this 4 year old thread as you do :p

It's a valid question..seems like most people would research first, then buy..but I see this all the time; "Hey, I just sunk $100 into these seeds..can anyone tell me anything about them?" (for example; the first post in this thread) and it kind of blows my mind.  I don't understand why someone wouldn't spend a few minutes doing a Google search and looking at a few grow logs.  That will always tell you more than a generic description by the breeder.

Extra protip: include the word 'hermie' in your google search to see if people have had problems with hermaphrodites in the strain you're looking at.

How much money could people have saved by doing this search?

I was just hoping for a little insight..and maybe to save you and anyone else reading a few bucks next time   Do your research!!

This is my original comment.... Read it. I did do a search. And the reason why I  bumped this thread was bc all I could find about this strain (other than what gorilla seeds said about it in there description) was grows from people growing blue cheese from Barneys. I wanted to know if anyone, maybe someone who hasn't posted about it, tried blue cheese from big buddha. And the reason I went with gorilla seeds was bc through research, I hear they are a pretty good company. And I don't think I wasted any money. 60 bucks for 6 different strains including AK47?

All im saying is why do people have to come into post bashing it down? instead of spending time bashing a post, spend the same time writing something helpful or positive.

Anyways, thanks for the help and protip. No offense man.
