One lil Bagseed Lady
    #231287 - 05/24/09 10:53 AM (14 years, 10 months ago)

This lil lady is Bagseed, so not sure what she is.
She is around a month old, has 5 X 24W/6500k CFL's and loves a drink of worm castings. Currently her waist iz about 4mm maybe 5mm.
I think she is due for a trim, possible loose some of her lower leaves.

If you have an opions on ways to spoil my lil lady to make her grow up nice and strong, let me know.

Looks nice. A way to spoil any plant is co2 enrichment follwed up with slightly warmer temp. and good nutrients. Youd be suprised how heathy and quickly this will make them grow. There are a lot of ways to co2 enrich, but the best are a co2 tank or propane burner. The less predictable but also effective other methods are dry ice(can get expensive) or a vinagar drip on baking soda(way cheaper, but more time consuming.

You can see in this picture how large the fan leaves are, especially on the plant on the left. This occured from dry ice co2 enriching. The grow was fantastic and quick, and the color also richened up nicely.

On the bottom ones a little bit yes.

What does this mean?

The worm Juice she drinks if diluted in a lot of water before use.

Thanks for the comments.

You have a fantastically rich green momma there!!! I too only have a lone bagseed but it just turned out to be a girl!  Looks like you are doing an all-star job on it so far.  The one thing I did notice is the odd curling on the serrated part of the leaves.  I'm sorry I've never really had too many health problems w/ my plants so I'm not a very good doctor to diagnose that problem...

She looks great though man, Minimal stretching and all the leaves are stiff and pointed upwards... Looks very happy to me  :ganja:

Don't they look like sisters?

Do you have a fan on them or anything? That looks like heat stress to me. It looks just like the pic Dr. Penguin uses for his diagnosis guide here: http://www.growery.org/2991/Diagnosis

But that little bagseed is looking great!

Looking awesome!  I would listen to these folks and add more soil around your plant, it will promote more rooting.  Also I hope you plan on flowering that thing soon cuz it will get huge from now on!

Ok any Idea's to get more soil in there? Or should I put soil on top of whats there. I had a go at tring to lift the lady up, but I dont want to rip any roots. I can prob get a inch of soil on top of whats there, but the soil is fairly loose packed, so roots and soil will not stay together.

id be looking at flipping that plant like tommoz at the latest that thing is going to double in size with the flower stretch and it doesnt look like you have much more room than that.. just get a very small garden spade and take it out of the pot if you cant lift it out with the roots in tact.. also get some sea weed solution if your waooried about stressing the plant at all.. i do these types of transplants all the time and hardly ever if ever stress the plant at all.. just be gentle with her and she wont have a hissy fit....

ps.... are you from shroomery.org ?
