hummm. miracle grow is  pretty broad... could u specify a little?? yeah, the soil sucks ass, but i have great success using the bloom formula. I've had that happen to me in a gurilla grow, but it was due to overwatering from a an unexpected flood! I'm not saying that's the reason though, but could use some more info on ur grow, ph, nutrients, grow medium, etc.

I'm just using straight up miracle grow, not moisture control or anything...as for the over watering I don't think I have been doing that because my soil is dry when I water....I don't have enough money for a PH tester and I haven't used any nutes at all on the plants except super thrive but that's not really a nutrient I don't think. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Its potting soil with time release nutes I believe if that helps any.

what is the super thrive? Are there 3 numbers on it for N-P-K?

If you arent using the right fertilizers there might be a deficiency of some sort.  Purple stems and yellowing in between the veins of the leaves are symptoms of nitrogen deficiency.  Assuming your plant is in vegetative state, how fast is the growth? If the growth has slowed down my guess is a nitrogen deficiency.

the growth has slowed and I am 6 days into flowering. Superthrive is just something you add to nutes....it doesnt actually have anything in it that will harm the plants really.

It looks like nute burn to me. What are the temps like in there? It could be temp issues as well. It wouldn't be the superthrive causing problems, I don't think, so It has to be the soil. Maybe give her a good flush to try to wash out some of the shitty chemical fertilizer (but it's time release so who knows if it will come out at all) and see what happens.

Is this the same plant that you were having problems with before in your other thread?

You flush by running 2-3 times the volume of the pot worth of water through the soil in order to leech out the excess nutrients. Now after flushing, the nutrient content of the soil will drop pretty dramatically, you are going to need to buy some kind of decent fertilizer. (No more MG!)

yea, you can just run it under the tap for a while, no need to measure. Make sure the tap is on a trickle though, you don't want to wash away too much soil.

Anything made by advanced nutrients or general hydroponics should work. GH floranova is a great, inexpensive, set for new growers. It has everything you need in two bottles.

If you are flowering then its not a nitrogen deficiency most likely.  I agree that you should do a nutrient flush to get rid of whatever has accumulated and then start using a fertilizer developed for flowering/blooming.

The nitrogen demands decrease in flowering so you should get a fertilizer that is higher in phosphorous and potassium.  This will mean a smaller first number on the package and the second two will be larger numbers.

Flushing and then fertilizing should make sure that your plants are getting a good amount of fertilizer without accidentaly over fertilizing.

Your soil pH should ideally be between 6.5-7.0 in soil.  The pH is going to effect nutrient uptake. Someone else on here should be able to tell you what to do, Im not sure.

This same thing happened to me my last grow with MGMC.

Between the MG and bad ph, I was fucked. Out of 20 plants only one was worth while smoking.

I wil never use that  shit again.

Man, Good Luck to you.

The plants grew, lost alot of leaves, buds did grow. Just were not worth a shit.

Pot is a tuff plant. It was going to try to make seed.

Hopefuly you can correct your ph problem. Then at least the plant can up take the nutes.

well i tested the water coming out of the bottom of the plant and it looked more like 7.0 so im thinking maybe the water somehow balances out......not to sure about this though.

I got some Up and Down pH adjuster and an Milwaukee pH tester

I feel better knowing whats going in and coming out. My plants (overall)look better with pH of the water being right.
