I've held on to bud to experiment stashing and preservation methods. Does bud even weaken in your opinion over time?
Besides being pretty dry months of stashing seems to work

Bud certainly degrades over time no matter the method you use. My dad stores his bud in bags in the freezer for years at a time without problem. The best methods limit gas exchange and lower the temperature to slow down chemical reactions. I would assume vacuum packed weed in a freezer would be almost as good as new bud for a couple years anyway.

I've never had any bud that was around for more than a few months. Pretty much applies to any other substances too.

i had a head stash that had year old nuggets in it that were still super fuckin heady. kept them in a huge jar but some fuckin grimy cock smokin piece of shit son of a bitches broke into my place and cleaned me out

I buy weed to smoke it
not to save/stash it
when I get a sack it is normally
a quarter oz or a half oz
and it is gone within 3-4 days

i forgot an eighth in a bag for over a year.
when i found it the quality was still very good.
i gave half to a family member because i felt generous that day.

 I don't understand how anyone could forget about a hidden stash.  I have lost my weed before for a little while when i hid it in a different spot for a while, but I eventually found it.
But I usually keep my weed and pipe in the same place at all times.
I havent held bud for very long, I buy it and smoke it until it is gone.

I found some bud earlier today that was probably four years old. I don't smoke anymore so I tossed it in the trash.
