 ssri's and weed?

so i started taking st.johns wart for depression which as i understand is similar to the prescription ssri medications. are there any interactions between the two?
ive smoked on the same days ive taken the pills and i havent noticed any negative effects, in fact i havent gotten any paranoia on those days with weed.

Naw, it's fine. I'm on Zoloft and I haven't noticed any ill effects.

i hated the brain zaps, when i took that ssri and snri crap and missed a dose. anti-depressants are poison, i feel much less depressed now that i'm off them

They are overprescribed, I will say that. However, I'm one of the few who are actually helped by them.

I know a few people who mix with no negative interaction. In fact, most people on SSRI's that I know who *aren't* on pot seem to be more depressed than those who mix the two. Makes sense to me. Pot always makes me happy!
