I want to make a large batch of cannabis butter/crisco.

Would SmallTime's cannabutter method work with crisco instead of butter?

sounds like it could work, the key is saturated fat, apparently THC binds with it well when heated.

yea it should work, as long as the active cannaboids have a fat molecule to attach to you should be good, i always leave the residue in for good measure, after powdering it with a coffee grinder and scraping it into the heating butter or fat substance, i just figure it couldn't hurt to have the ground bud itself inside the treat as they baked

ive used crisco before man, works pretty good. its like oil when its in the pan then it solidifies when cooled.
